Trauma Therapy: Healing Through Body, Story, and Strength

Trauma therapy is a compassionate journey toward understanding and healing the impacts of difficult life experiences that may still affect your emotional, physical, and relational well-being. When trauma happens, it often becomes stored not just in memories but in the body, shaping how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

In this therapeutic space, we honor your whole self — mind, body, and spirit — through approaches that are trauma-informed, strength-based, and deeply respectful of your unique story.

Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom. Trauma can create physical tension, numbness, or discomfort, and through gentle, mindful attention to these sensations, you can begin to release stuck feelings and cultivate a renewed sense of safety and presence.

Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore the different “parts” of you—those voices or feelings inside that may carry pain, protectiveness, or confusion. IFS supports you in developing a compassionate relationship with these parts, allowing healing to unfold from within rather than through force or avoidance.

In addition, narrative therapy empowers you to revisit and reshape the stories you tell yourself about your trauma and your life. This helps shift perspectives to highlighting your strengths and values.

Throughout our work, the focus remains on your strengths and resources. Healing from trauma is not about “fixing” something broken, but about uncovering the courage, wisdom, and resilience already within you.

If you’re ready to explore a gentle, integrative approach to trauma healing—one that values your story, your body’s signals, and your inner resources—you’re welcome here. Together, we’ll walk a path toward greater freedom, connection, and self-compassion.
